The leak appears credible, but it is not officially authenticated. The clips are stronger evidence than the claimed full map, and no apparent feature should yet be treated as final.
Multiple publications have reviewed the circulating material, and reporters say Take-Two is issuing takedowns. That supports the possibility that at least some of the footage is genuine. It does not prove the age of the build, the accuracy of every image bundled with it or whether any visible system will ship unchanged.
| Claim | Our status | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Four short gameplay videos are circulating | Verified reporting | IGN documented four releases across roughly 24 hours. |
| The footage is genuine GTA 6 | Likely, not confirmed | Visual consistency and reported takedowns are signals; Rockstar has not authenticated it. |
| The image is the complete final map | Unverified | No provenance or official confirmation establishes completeness. |
| Visible mechanics will ship unchanged | Unverified | Development builds contain experiments, placeholders and unfinished tuning. |
| The release date has changed | No evidence | Rockstar still lists November 19, 2026. |

Third-party · UnverifiedVideos presented as the GTA 6 leak
These public YouTube uploads are presented by their uploaders as footage from the August 2026 leak. GTA6 Hub cannot authenticate them, and an embed appearing here is not confirmation that every frame is genuine.
The videos may be removed without notice and may display token names, QR codes or account handles. Do not scan, buy, connect a wallet or download files advertised inside them.
Playback is provided by YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed. GTA6 Hub does not host the files and has no control over availability or takedowns.
What happened
Two clips and a map image appear
Reports describe one clip of Jason playing basketball and another showing driving and a fight. A separate image is promoted as a complete GTA 6 map.
CyberLeek claims responsibility
The material carries branding for a group using the name CyberLeek, links to a manifesto about digital game ownership and prominently promotes a memecoin. The method and source of access remain unknown.
Consumer campaign rejects the association
Stop Killing Games distances itself from the group, expresses sympathy for Rockstar developers and warns viewers not to send money or engage with the promoted token.
Two more clips are reported
Follow-up videos reportedly include a taser encounter, knife combat and brief story footage. IGN says Rockstar and Take-Two had not issued a public statement at its latest update.
What the reported footage appears to show
The descriptions below are observations reported by outlets that viewed the clips. They are not confirmations of final gameplay features.
Activities and movement
Jason is reportedly seen playing basketball, driving at night, swimming and entering fights. These scenes suggest a broader range of ambient actions, but a clip cannot establish whether each action is a repeatable activity, a mission-specific sequence or a temporary developer test.
Combat and police encounters
Later footage reportedly shows melee combat, a taser, knife use and on-screen threat indicators. Some reports also describe contextual vehicle-entry choices. The safe conclusion is that these elements appear in the build shown, not that Rockstar has announced a final combat or wanted-system design.
Interface clues
Journalists describe health, vehicle and possible fuel indicators. UI is among the easiest parts of a game to change before launch, so labels such as “fuel system confirmed” go beyond the evidence.
A possible build-date clue
One clip reportedly plays Tate McRae's “Sports Car,” released in January 2025. If the audio is native to the captured build, the recording cannot predate that song. This narrows a possible lower bound; it does not tell us when the video was captured or prove that the build is current.
What the GTA 6 leak does not confirm
- The final map size. A single exported image can be incomplete, altered or detached from its original context.
- A permanent six-star wanted level. Interface elements in development footage do not establish final balancing.
- Fuel as a universal vehicle mechanic. An icon can represent damage, fuel, a mission state or unfinished UI.
- Every activity as open-world content. Basketball, combat prompts or cutscenes may be mission-bound or test scenes.
- A delay or platform change. Nothing in the leak supersedes Rockstar's official date and platform list.

The crypto and spoiler risk
The leak is being used to attract attention to a memecoin. Avoid connected wallets, downloads, mirrored archives and accounts claiming to sell access to more footage. Impersonator accounts have also appeared.
There is no need to visit the alleged group's site to understand the story. Use established reporting for updates and Rockstar's channels for confirmed information. If avoiding spoilers matters to you, mute combinations of “GTA 6 leak,” “CyberLeek,” “Jason” and “cutscene”; later clips have moved beyond systems into story material.
How this differs from earlier GTA 6 leaks
| Date | Incident | What was established |
|---|---|---|
| September 2022 | More than 90 early-development videos were stolen and published. | Rockstar acknowledged the network intrusion and said development would continue as planned. |
| December 2023 | Trailer 1 appeared on X shortly before its scheduled premiere. | Rockstar released the official trailer early. |
| August 2026 | Short gameplay clips and a claimed map are promoted alongside a memecoin. | Rockstar has not publicly authenticated the new material as of this update. |
The crucial difference is source quality: the 2022 intrusion was acknowledged by Rockstar. The 2026 material is still being assessed through indirect evidence.
GTA 6 leak FAQ
Is the new GTA 6 leak real?
It appears credible, but Rockstar and Take-Two have not publicly authenticated it. Reported takedowns and visual consistency are evidence, not proof.
Did the full GTA 6 map leak?
An image claiming to be the full map is circulating. Its origin, completeness and authenticity are unverified, so it should not replace Rockstar-confirmed map information.
Does the leak change the GTA 6 release date?
No. Rockstar's official page still lists November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. See the maintained GTA 6 release date guide.
Who is CyberLeek?
CyberLeek is the name used by the group claiming responsibility. Its identity, access method and full claims are not independently verified. The branding is tied to a memecoin promotion.

This page embeds three public third-party YouTube videos above. They are unverified, may contain spoilers and can be removed at any time. Avoid download mirrors, wallet prompts, QR codes and accounts selling access.
